Manoir de Montreuil Calvados 'Selection' (750 ml)

Domaine du Manoir de Montreuil is a small farm in Normandy owned by the Giard family that farms apples and makes cider for Calvados distillation and general consumption. All the orchards are farmed "haut-tige" meaning the trees are older before harvesting begins, resulting in fewer apples, but more concentrated flavors.

Made from 2-3 year old Calvados brandies from 15 different varieties of apples, mostly bittersweet, with small percentages of sweet and acidic. Aged in barrel, then blended in a tank after double pot still distillation.
