Sandlands focuses on working with lesser known grapes from restored vineyards of very old vines located throughout Northern California. Their vines are primarily ungrafted, head trained and dry farmed. The wines are small production and made in a low-intervention style. The grapes for their 'Lodi' Cinsault were planted in 1886.
