Château Talbot, a 4th Grand Cru Classé estate in Saint-Julien (Médoc), spans 110 hectares in a single block, benefiting from an exceptional terroir of alluvial gravel near the Gironde estuary. Its soils, shaped by the Dordogne and Garonne Rivers, contribute to the estate’s distinguished winemaking.
With a history dating back to the 15th century, the estate was named after Connétable Talbot, an English military commander. It was classified as a Fourth Growth in the 1855 Médoc classification and later acquired by the Cordier family in 1918, maintaining its reputation for producing elegant, age-worthy wines.
