Spring loveliness along with many exciting new Burgundy arrivals has us in a holiday mood around the shop. This first-look list reads as a hit parade of the region's most sought-after producers, with aged bottlings from Coche-Dury and Rousseau leading the way. Other Burgundy lovelies include mature vintages of Grivot's 'Clos de Vougeot' dating back to 1979 and a trio of 2012 grands crus from Morey's Cyprien Arlaud, a personal favorite vintage from the domaine. There are also three vintages Camille Giroud's excellent 'Chambertin,' all of which offer surpassing value.
For more earthly pleasures, I'll single out new arrivals from Bernard Moreau, a last chance at Georges Noëllat's brilliant 2017s, and a smattering of whole-cluster gems from Lignier-Michelot.
Happy Hunting!
Cheers,
Jason
