This just-acquired Gibourg parcel spans a useful villages through grand cru width. Nuits is particularly well represented via a 'Les Chaignots' trio together with rarer sightings of Nuits villages and ‘Les Vignes Rondes.’
These latter two are in particularly fine 2018 form - wines that may surprise those who haven’t tasted 2018 Gibourg and/or have internalized the axiom of Gibourg as pure elegance. Borderline over-the-top indulgences both.
