This wildly comprehensive 2022 Dujac offer is not exactly what it appears. Itemizing individual wines creates the illusion of abundance though per-item availability often goes no deeper than a couple bottles.
The wines are well worth pouncing on. 2022’s defining features - charm, fragrance, and ripeness unencumbered by excess - cohere so strongly the set feels almost a parody of its growing season. Clusters are more forward than certain other recent vintages, good news for those of us who wish for more ‘Dujac-ness’ in the glass than we sometimes find these days.
Accessibility and generosity are by now such familiar 2022 touchstones that they come nearly implied. A superabundance of both, though, nevertheless deserves centering. If you’re partial to this singular vintage, I think you’ll be singularly excited about these.
Cheers,
Jason
