Chateau de Bonnezeaux’s rich history dates back to the 19th century, though it wasn’t until 2012 that Guyonne Saclier de Batie and Mark Angeli began reworking the soils. Today, the duo responsibly farms four hectares of vines across the Loire with the utmost respect for the environment put first. Fruit for ‘La Montagne’ comes two different plots (40 and 70 years in age) and is vinified bone-dry. Stony and crisp, the wine shows zesty acidity, fruit-forwardness, and a crazy food-friendly nature.
