"The 2021 Chablis Fourchaume ler Cru, aged half in clay amphora and half in used oak barrels, has too much SO2 on the nose at the moment, occluding the terroir expression. I suspect that will resolve with bottle age. The palate is ripe and offers more, with touches of orange rind and pineapple, fine acidity and a satisfyingly delineated finish (VM, 90 points)."
