The Alain Burguet Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru 'Les Rouges de Dessus' is a 0.32 ha size vineyard located in Vosne-Romanee, just above the Grand Cru Les Echezeaux. The soil contains lots of pebble and the vines are planted in 1969. Alain Burguet purchase grapes and sort them three times, two more times on their sorting tables. Destemmed, aged in 19 months in barrels which is a 30% new oak.
