Partial whole-cluster, indigenous yeast fermentation, pump-overs in stainless steel tank. Aged for 20 months in older oak barrels, unfined, unfiltered. Southwestern part of appellation, east-facing, 280-meters elevation, soil of broken-down granite and sand, topsoil 40-50 cm deep.

The vines are not very extremely old: one parcel is 15 years old, the other 35. Age of vines is less important in the Northern Rhône since the roots have no choice but to plunge directly into the bedrock.
