The "4 V" cuvées originated with the brothers' desire to reveal the potential of their terroirs and to observe, understand, and experiment with their individual and unique characteristics. The combination of four elements - one Vineyard, one Variety, one Vintage, and one overriding method of vinification (Vision) - allows for a true, precise reflection within the larger, magnificent mosaic of terroirs that define Champagne. 2013 was the first vintage for the Pinot Noir in the Huré brothers' "4 V" Champagne series.

2013-2016 and 2018 Vintages: Grapes originate from the windy lieu-dit "La Perthe" in Ludes; sand and clay soil, planted in 1983. The rows follow the south-facing slope, benefitting from both the morning and afternoon sun. Domaine owned.

2017 vintage: Sourced from "Les Champs Pourceaux" in Rilly-la-Montagne; organically farmed, limestone bedrock. The brothers prefer the more chiseled expression from this terroir in riper vintages.
