Domaine Ponsot's Grand Cru Clos de la Roche is a historic and emblematic wine, sourced from 65-year-old vines across 3.2 hectares in Clos de la Roche and Clos des Monts-Luisants. Made from Pinot Noir, it is known for its power, elegance, and silky tannins, ideal for aging. With a target yield of 30 hl/ha and an average production of 10,000 bottles, it grows in lean, clay-limestone soil. Hand-harvested grapes are destemmed, fermented with native yeasts in wooden vats, and matured for 18 months in 20-year-old French oak barrels, with no new wood used.
