Château Quinault L’Enclos, acquired in 2008, serves as an experimental counterpart to Château Cheval Blanc. Located in Libourne’s Saint-Émilion appellation, this 19-hectare urban vineyard has a rich history dating back to the Gallo-Roman era. A full vineyard restructuring began in 2009, and by 2011, its wines were served alongside Cheval Blanc. It earned Grand Cru Classé status in 2012 but, like Cheval Blanc, did not apply for the 2022 classification. Quinault L’Enclos continues to evolve, driven by a commitment to showcasing its terroir with precision.
