2017 Vincent Ledy Bourgogne Rouge 'Cuvée Nicolas'
Delightful rich red fruit with a touch of charming rusticity, red licorice and intriguing touch of menthol. The palate has fine rounded tannins and there's beautifully fresh acidity. An impressive wine from this overlooked winemaker that we love. - Spencer
2018 Pierre Girardin Bourgogne Rouge 'Vieilles Vignes'
He’s definitely doing good for the family name. I just see elegance in his wines immediately and particularly in this one. It transcends it’s level. You can tell that this is villages [parcels in Pommard and Volnay]. There's a bit of fresh stem amidst concentrated fruit. This really overdelivers. -Slim
2018 Danjean-Berthoux Bourgogne 'Chaume Ronde'
It’s showing beautiful precision that reminds me more of 17 than 18. There's lively acidity, pure red fruit and sweet tannins. It’s fun but not simple. I just love this wine, I want to go to my rooftop. - Daniel
