A fun-but-not-much-of-either double offer to end the week here. As you already know, the '08 vintage chez Krug has generated more excitement than any this century, so even in relative scarcity we're excited to center these.
The vintage here is wonderfully complete, both bottlings attractively racy and precise yet avoiding the hyperactive extremes of many '08 peers. A shared sense of direction and purpose adds much to the expectedly supercharged cores. Few examples coordinate concentration and energy so persuasively.
