Here’s our answer. We buried a bottle in a Chambolle tasting earlier this year (some readers will remember partaking) after which our little collective squinted at a newcomer that had bested many of Chambolle’s most chased premiers. ‘It tastes more like cherries than cherries taste like cherries' was my favorite tasting note that night. I recommend snagging two and opening one now.
Who knows where these ‘21s go, but who can deny the uber-pleasure they insist upon now? We’re opening so many at the shop these days I’m embarrassed to be more specific.
