"The 2023 Fixin Village, taken from large foudre, has a come-hither nose with pure Morello cherries and wild strawberry scents, plus a touch of briar in the background. The palate offers sucrosity on the entry, with candied orange peel infusing the red fruit and a touch of white pepper toward the finish. Generous and playful, this is a Fixin to enjoy after a year in bottle (VM, 90 points)."
