Domaine de la Jobeline, situated in Verzé within Mâconnais, Burgundy, boasts an exceptional terroir. Established by Claude in 1915, the estate was expanded by his son Paul and is now owned by Pierre Maillet. With over 13 hectares of vineyards producing various Burgundian wines, it has recently seen parcels acquired by Domaine Leflaive in Puligny-Montrachet.

After leaving the cooperative cellar in 2014, Pierre Maillet established Domaine de la Jobeline, focusing on quality wine production. Through extensive reconstruction and replanting efforts, he cultivates Chardonnay, Aligoté, and Gamay grapes for exceptional wines. Emphasizing freshness, grapes are quickly pressed upon harvest to preserve their quality. Hand-harvesting ensures superior grape selection, while the clay-limestone soil contributes to optimal vine growth. Pierre Maillet's daily vineyard work maintains a natural ecosystem, combining traditional and modern techniques to craft ideal wines at Domaine de la Jobeline.
