Despite nearly 400 years of winemaking in Burgundy, Domaine Henri Magnien isn’t a household name. Charles Magnien, the 12th generation at the helm, is changing that. Considered one of the Gevrey-Chambertin’s most exciting up-and-comers, Charles farms old-vine pinot noir and pinot magnien (a pinot mutation that his family discovered) to make a rich, warming style of Red Burgundy.
