Located in the small village of Chavignol in the county of Cher, Vatan’s practices provides only necessary and natural treatments to one hectare (no more and no less), parcel located at Monts Damnés. Edmond first, who paved the way for a virtuosity that never left the family business. Then came Anne, the daughter, yet archeologist until 2008. A very elegant and gorgeous wines, ‘Le Clos de la Néore’ is probably the most sought-after wine in Sancerre appellation. Only 4.000 bottles are produced per year from 49 years old vines.
