ETA Mid-June 2024

This wine is made from 100% Spätburgunder grapes grown in the Frauenberg vineyard, which is known for its steep slopes and mineral-rich soils. The wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, which adds complexity and depth to the wine. In the glass, the Frauenberg Spätburgunder GG has a deep ruby color with aromas of black cherry, raspberry, and spice. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with flavors of dark fruit, earth, and a hint of smoke. The tannins are firm but well-integrated, and the acidity is bright and refreshing. The finish is long and lingering, with notes of black pepper and vanilla.
