Regular price $799.95La Mission Haut Brion is situated in Bordeaux's southern suburb, Talence. From 1919 and 1983, it was the Woltner family who owned this property. Under Woltner's reign, La Mission Haut Brion experienced one of its most significant periods with a string of excellent vintages. It was then considered entirely on the level with First Growths and sometimes even better than these. In 1983, the owners of Haut Brion purchased La Mission Haut Brion, and today; it is Jean Philippe Delmas who's responsible for this property.
La Mission Haut Brion is irresistible even in average vintages and is famous for the legendary long life of its wines. There is 20 ha of vines planted with 48 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, and 7% Cabernet Franc, vines are an average of 21 years old, and the wine spends 20 months in new oak. It's challenging and almost impossible to resist La Mission Haut Brion's fantastic richness, silky structure, extraordinary balance, and sophisticated/refined "look".
