Falanghina: one of the treasures of Italy's southern Campania region sadly almost fell into extinction as recently as the 1960's. Finding some of its best-suited terroirs in the foothills of the Apeninnes, the Sannio region is prime for unlocking Falanghina's beautiful aromatic quality of fresh stone and tropical fruits, white flowers, hints of spice and in the right hands a delicate minerality.
