Brendan arrived in France, originally to be an English teacher in Paris. Rapidly falling in love with wine, he was an apprentice under Romain Guiberteau, while attending Oenology school. Since 2015, Brendan has been making his own wine from a single hectare of vines comes from the lieu-dit, Les Chapaudaises (an area 2km from Brézé). The wine is fermented with indigenous yeasts, then aged for an additional 18 months in barrel.
