2021 Domaine Ogereau Anjou Blanc ‘Bonnes Blanches’ Sec

Domaine Ogereau is located in the heart of the Val du Layon, a tributary of the Loire. Vincent and Catherine Ogereau today manage the family winery, founded by his great-grandfather at the end of the nineteenth century. His son Emmanuel has been steadily supporting his parents for some years, ensuring the continuation of the family business for the fifth generation. The desire to constantly improve the quality of the wines and the passion for Chenin Blanc have led this Domaine to be considered among the best in Anjou. A Chenin Blanc from plants of about 40 years that grow on gray shale soils. The perfectly healthy grapes harvested give a wine that fully expresses the character of the terroir. Notes of white fruit and citrus fruits are accompanied on the nose by spicy and honeyed hints. The rich palate is perfectly balanced by acidity, with a long and persistent finish.
