'This Montepulciano is made from 100% organically grown grapes, harvested by hand in September and October. The vineyard is located in the area of Chieti, in Abruzzo. The moderating breezes from the sea allow for perfect ripening, and the thermal variation between day and night serves to enhance the aromatics of the wine.

The name ERA was chosen because it means an important historical period. This era is that of environmental awareness and an active desire to protect and preserve our environment for future generations through organic farming and production. ERA also refers to the Italian verb "was" as in, how it was. The turning back to more ecological farming practices of the past before the invention of herbicides and pesticides.

This wine is a deep ruby red with violet-purple reflection. It has an intense aroma of black cherries with spicy, earthy notes. It is medium-bodied with layers of black cherry, wild berries, anise and pepper. It finishes with a clean minerality and a crisp acidity. It pairs well with grilled or roasted white and red meats, especially dishes flavored with mushrooms, rosemary, and garlic.'
