"Vadin-Plateau, located in Cumieres in the Vallée de la Marne, has been around since 1785, yet few people have heard of them. Their non-vintage "Renaissance" cuvée is 100% Meunier, and offers rich fruit flavors of pear and strawberry with a light yeastiness. The acidity is not as high as with many Champagnes, meaning the finish is round and soft, making this an ideal Champagne for consumers that aren't looking for something exceptionally acidic. Nicely balanced, enjoy this over the next two to three years with veal filet or chicken with a mushroom sauce, (Forbes)".
