"Bright gold color. Impressively complex nose displays an intriguing bouquet of pit fruit, smoked meat, floral and mineral scents. Rich poached pear and floral honey flavors coat the palate and are braced by dusty minerals and succulent herbs. Blends energy and depth smoothly, becoming more powerful on the finish, which leaves behind strong notes of apricot pit and brown spices. I found this wine to be richer than the last two releases under this label, which will no doubt come as good news for long-time fans of this singular multi-vintage blend, (VM, 95 points)".
