Made in collaboration with Meursault's own Jean Marc Roulot, the 'Mainqué' Chardonnay comes from selected sites near the village of Mainqué in Patagonia's Rio Negro province. All fruit is harvested early in order to preserve freshness, minerality and Chacra's signature salinity. The wine is barrel fermented without undergoing malolactic conversion and was aged for 10 months in a combination of 8% concrete eggs, 25% stainless steel tanks and 57% in French oak barrels.
