'A deft application of wood frames the much more floral-scented aromas of various white orchard fruit and cool citrus wisps. There is a really beguiling sense of underlying tension to the delicious, well-delineated and solidly concentrated flavors that are unusually refined in the context of what is typical for Maltroie, all wrapped in a complex, focused and impressively persistent finish. This is excellent and notably better than the quality that I usually find with the average Maltroie.' (92 points)
