From the two Village wines of Lucien Muzard, both are classed as Vieilles Vignes, but the more impressive is the cuvée Champs Claude, its 1920s vines deliver impressive power that nods to its close neighbour the Premier Cru Chassagne-Montrachet Morgeot.

They hand harvest with 30-40% whole bunch ferment using natural yeasts for red wines. Gentle vinification using remontage with ageing in oak (up to 30% new) which is increasingly larger in size especially for 1er cru’s. Whites are whole bunch pressed with natural yeast fermentations and ageing in up to 40% new oak.
