The estate was founded in 1948 by Francis Usseglio, an Italy immigrant. Francis’s two sons Pierre and Raymond (Domaine Raymond Usseglio) are both well-known winemakers in the Rhône. Since 1999 the Domaine is led by Pierre’s children Jean-Pierre and Thierry. “Deux Freres” debuted in the 2000 vintage is made from the estate’s oldest Grenache vines.
