When people talk seriously about “natural” wines, they talk about Mas de Gourgonnier. The estate was one of the first officially certified organic wineries in 1975. Yet, Cartier family and Mas de Gourgonnier’s roots go back since the eighteenth century.  The vineyards are just south of the Alpilles Mountains, with a mix soils of decomposed granite and limestone, surround by pine trees. ‘Reserve du Mas’ is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Syrah from 20 – 30 years old vines.
