"The 1997 vintage has a deep, intense color. The nose reveals rich aromas of ripe red fruits such as blackcurrant, blackberry, cherry and plum. The wine is beginning to age, softening the tannins nicely. Full-bodied and well-structured on the palate, yet retaining the characteristic delicacy of Château Monbousquet (WA, 90 points)."
